I was pleasantly surprised by how easy the bases were to assemble for our split king bed. Both of them worked as advertised out of the box. The legs were easy to get set to the height we wanted. The highest height seemed a bit too high and made the base slightly wobbly, so I took a spacer out of each leg (making height 8").Operating the bases are fairly straightforward with each having its own remote. We found that there is a little noise during operating base - raising or lowering feet and head of base, but it's not terribly loud. We decided to take star off for noise because it's noticeable enough to hear on the other side of bed as we each make adjustments.Overall we are very happy with our purchase so far, since price is significantly lower than brand name bases but still sturdy and works fairly well. Will post any updates that became relevant to review.
