I thought this thing saved our lives for the first few weeks we owned it. It woke us up at 3am by beeping about every 10 seconds. Wow, he's trying to tell us something. We've got a carbon monoxide leak somewhere, right? Not correct. After turning the house upside down and looking for directions, I finally found out it was a low battery warning. Hmm, that's strange. It was in a working outlet with the included battery. We replaced it with a new battery, plugged it back into the wall and decided we just had a bad battery. Fast forward a week, same thing. Low battery status. I exchanged it again. It leaked 3 batteries before I unplugged it and set it aside to close it. We are now having problems with the oven so I thought it would be wise to get a new battery and reconnect it. Less than a week later the battery is empty. I turned it off and it's been there ever since. It's too late to return. If you're looking for a digital paperweight, look no further. That's pretty junk.
