Review on Dell FBA_DBQBCBC064 Adapter USB C Ethernet by Shawn Sims

This Dell USB-C to Ethernet adapter was provided to me by my IT department for use with my MacBook Pro 15" 2016 running macOS Sierra (currently 10.12.4). . These new Macs only have 4 USB-C ports, and onboard the Apple USB 3.1 bus is a Realtek Semiconductor USB 10/100/1000 network adapter. After I plug this adapter into any of the USB-C, TX/RX ports, the lights flash and when I plug in an active ethernet cable, the lights turn green/and orange. In my network settings I see that the LAN connection is set to 1000baseT full duplex. Because the price of this adapter is roughly on the same level as the Belkin adapter recommended by Apple. If I had a choice, I would buy from Apple. I will talk about my experience with this adapter.
