If the long end is not important (photo hunting), then I recommend it as the main zoom for all occasions. The lens, of course, does not have its own highly artistic design, special "bokeh" and so on, but in terms of technology it is impeccable! If you need a better lens, then this is only professional glass, which comes out in completely different money. Got pros: Great picture. Excellent sharpness at all apertures. There is practically no geometric distortion at a wide angle (unlike 18-135). Virtually no vignetting at the long end. Two modes of vibration reduction: for handheld shooting and for shooting from a car. Excellent design: no squeaks, no backlash, metal bayonet. Cons: Aperture at f / 3.5 is certainly not enough for portrait photography. Moreover, the portrait is taken at the long end, and there . 5.6 :-(
