Works great and reliable. The only caveat is that it's accurate for the temperature you calibrate it at. For example I use it to control mash temperature in beer making and I have calibrated it to 67°C (152°F) and it is very accurate at that temperature but when the temp drops after boiling and I up fermentation temperature cools (20 ° C to 68 ° F) then the reading of the measured temperature is not very accurate. This may be the temp sensor I use, but the temp sensor is a quality product and costs more than an Inkbird PID, so I just use Termapen when I'm chilling the wort to know I've reached the temperature of the chilled wort.
