I actually bought several of these in different styles at once. I bought this for my living room to store some of the many blankets, throws and pillows that we usually pile in the corner. It was great to hide those things and still be comfy to lounge around. The size is quite large, but since it doubles as a 'seat' and storage, it's nice. Our kids have their own rooms and love them because they help control the mess with the extra blankets and stuffed animals. Remember it's only as soft as how you use it, and unless you're strategic about it. When you fill it, it may be lumpy.
