you will need to drill

I had to drill a 2" diameter hole through the desktop, with a 2" hole-saw. Once I installed it on my wife's desk, she can charge her cell phone right there while she uses it. This is good, Big Smiles.

Pros

Desk outlet grommet with USB port, perfect for conference rooms,no more crawling under desks in business attire, it charge your phone and other electronic devices but doesn't take space of your work desk, keep the desktop tidy.

Cons

The USB ports may not work well with larger devices that need more charging current
