I think it's just the influence of the last two years, but this year I've really gotten into decorating - more than usual. I don't just have a "main tree" for Christmas, I have 2 plus numerous outbuildings. It just makes things happier. The problem is that my house is old and has a depressing (few) number of outlets. I have to get creative with the lighting. This garland kit was a good solution for my space with no outlets. It's exactly what you'd expect: a thin wire with bulbs almost embedded (as opposed to traditional bulbs that stick out) attached to a battery. It is switched on/off with the main switch. This is a good way to get light where power sources are limited or non-existent.
