Review on Processor Intel Core i7-7700 LGA1151, 4 x 3600 MHz, OEM by Adam Nowak ᠌

Revainrating 4 out of 5

The product is really good, I'm glad I purchased it.

Let's leave the endless disputes AMD vs Intel aside, enough has been written about each platform. Another point is Intel's attitude to sell unlocked processors and claim that overclocking removes the guarantee from the processor is nonsense! Another nuance of temperature jumps, which is also said a lot. The main disadvantage is that I got a marriage (I've been lucky lately for defective products). During the first load test after assembly, the processor temperature instantly jumped above 90C and reached 98C, the fan tried to escape from the case and fly away, while touching the heat pipes with his hand - they are cold. I handed over to the service, where he died completely. I understand that marriage should not affect the overall assessment of the product, however, I had to hand over the processor for several days, go to the store, etc. This is not entirely encouraging.

Pros
  • Well, the advantages are known to everyone, the main thing is the speed per core, of course .
Cons
  • Heat transfer, see below. And the attitude of Intel management.
