I bought this set for the fun knowing it would be almost comical to have a serious remote for a 'pocket camera'.BUT, guess what!For selfies out and about with my Pedco Ultrapod II mini tripod, I am no longer a slave to that darn 10 second timer and maybe trip down a ravine running to get back into the shot!No breakable antennas sticking out like on the remote I use with my heavyweight Nikon DSLR.Works great for focus/ single remote shots right out of the box.The instructions are as expected - a bit complex, but so is this remote!For a Chinese translation, this is actually not bad,It did not work first try, but that was my fault for not pushing the cable all the way in to the camera!Super easy to use, very light (thank you AAA batteries - 2 each per unit), it's a great remote!I did not try it from one end of a football field, but at 10, 20, 30 feet, no issues.Highly recommend!.***No one paid me or gave me this remote for a review. Who are those lucky people?
