TL;DR, Don't starve your plant with this light, the bulb actually produces around 19 PPFD at 12 inches and a plant in the Chicago summer receives somewhere around 1800 PPFD at noon. PPFD is the correct measurement for indoor grow lights, not micromoles.The package says 1900 micromoles of light, which sounds a lot like the measurement real grow lights use, PPFD. PFFD is actually micromoles per meter squared per second so it's weird they didn't put a time measurement next to their rating. However, that makes sense if you wanted to make the bulb seem more powerful than it really is because it's like saying you can achieve infinite micromoles of light by leaving a plant under it forever.
