I recently installed these on my '08 Kawasaki Concours 1400 after purchasing a set of economy brake pads for half the price. I've driven 114,000 miles and tried different brake pads. I drive pretty hard when driving on twisty roads and use the brakes a lot. "Econo" self-destructed at about 10,000 miles (glue fracture). I went back to the EBCs I had previously used. All you have to do is pull the front brake lever with one finger for a quick stop. I heard them creak a few times, but it's okay. I've put about 30,000 miles on the latest EBCs and they ended up being just as good as they were when they were new. Joe R Kelso, Washington.
