Review on 🔧 Dorman 740-179 Front Right Window Regulator for Ford and Lincoln Models by Mark Adams

I bought a used 2005 Lincoln Navigator and when I bought it the window had problems. The fall went well, but the climb was very slow. When it got really cold it went SO slow and then stopped about 5 inches before closing and I had to open the door and "help" the window. I ordered this part along with a couple of motors (both motors proved unsuitable anyway as the front driver motor is different from all the others) and took it to a friend who works as a mechanic. He just replaced the ESC and kept the original motor and now it runs like clockwork! Up and down is great, even in cold weather! The price of the Revain can't match either, the exact same part is around $130 at local auto parts stores for the same part number and all! If you are having window problems on your Navigator, Expedition, F150 etc I would trust and recommend Dorman window regulators as they are a huge money saver over a Ford brand part. Time will tell how it holds up. I am writing this review in January 2014, if it doesn't work I will update this review!
