Review on Suburban SB232259 Quantity Electrical Switch SW by Kevin Swier

The product arrived in a reasonable time and was very easy to install. I've added an image to show that the product doesn't meet my expectations for amperage. The Questions and Answers section under this product said it was a 20 amp device, when in fact the external rating is 16 amps as you can see from the picture of the printed specs on the outside of the switch. The water heater is wired to a 15 amp switch and when we started out the Suburban water heater had 10 amp cords. Over time they got hot and discolored to the point where I felt uncomfortable and reconnected the water heater. Let's hope the switch lasts long since it's just one more amp than the switch feeding it. The original switch was 20 amps.
