It is really difficult to tell how well these Cleancult Dishwasher Pods, Lemongrass scent, work. I rinse my dishes because there are only two of us and we eat from the stove. That means there are only two plates, glasses, silverware, and a few bowls to deal with each night. I only run the dishwasher a couple of times per week. Since I wait days to run it, I feel I must rinse them to prevent odors from developing.Upon receiving the order with these Cleancult pods, I needed to run the dishwasher, a brand new LG Quadra Wash. I placed the pod into the holder without unwrapping it as it is dissolvable. I already had a rinse aid in the dishwasher as it holds enough for several washes. The next morning I opened the dishwasher as I wash at night when there is less demand for electricity. My dishes were very clean, the silverware was bright and shiny, the plates were clean and the glasses were spotless. As I said, I had a rinse aid already in the machine. I was very pleased with one exception. I could not smell anything. There was absolutely no scent coming from the tub of the dishwasher and since they made such a big deal about the scent, I was looking forward to it! For this failure, I deducted one star.I haven't made up my mind about Cleancult yet. I'm very pleased with the results, but I'm not positive about how much the rinse aid helped out. Once I exhaust the aid in the dishwasher, I will have a better idea of how well it works. I've been using Finish Quantum pods for several years and I know I can depend upon them. If the Cleancult pods match the performance of the Quantum without the Finish rinse aid, they will be more affordable so I may change. With this in mind, I do recommend these pods.
