The seat is uncomfortable, not because of its materials but because it feels like it points up applying pressure to the back of my thighs. There is no way to adjust so sitting back is not an option. The work out bands are up front so close to the pedals that any shift causes it to hit the pedals as you ride. (Update 11/09/21 dummy me didn't have the bands in the correct place. much better after I fixed it.) you can get past those two problems the cycling is smooth and quiet. It does not take up too much space out or folded up. I do wish the made a more convenient way to adjust the height level of the seat. It’s a long screw that must be unscrewed all the way out to adjust the height. I and my kids prefer different heights when riding and I am constantly having to adjust it. It is convenient to ride to get our exercise as we are all stuck at home due to the pandemic. I put it in front of the TV and the kid’s live to cycle as they watch TV. (18 and 9 years old) It holds all kind of devices from a cell phone, tablet to a computer for us. Yes, a laptop fits on the panel and it held by the brackets so my college student can cycle during class or me during a meeting. We are careful of our movement and that the brackets are a hard plastic. The panel keeps track of many different elements and it flashes through the smaller information always visually at the bottom of the screen in a larger font. Overall it’s been good to have it in the house for the kids and I may give it to my older kid when she moves out so I can buy a different one with a better seat angle. Sorry it does hurt my legs which it would not have bothered if I didn’t have to sit at my desk for work for many hours and I was not older. (FYI- Beware of inflated positive reviews- the company emailed me relentlessly asking me to change my review to a 5 star for a huge discount ($100) off my purchase. I declined repeatedly because I appreciate an honest review and depend on them when making purchases. My update is not paid and a correction of my error in assembling the workout bands.)
