Does what I bought it for
I use a phone case when I go. This allows me to listen to music and keep up with my steps while keeping my hands free. It sways when you walk, but it doesn't bother me. I loved it. If I were to worry about that, it would be the type of strap that came with it. It is attached with thin nylon loops. But for now everything is fine.
