Review on 💪 InSinkErator Badger 5XP Garbage Disposal with Cord, Continuous Feed, 3/4 HP by Billy Dotie

After reading many reviews on the two main Insinkerator models, I began to realize that the primary "quietness" of the more expensive model was probably mostly due to the sink drain plug, which is available as an accessory for the much cheaper Badger model. I replaced an old Sears chopper made by the Insinkerator that had a narrower profile than the Badger. It seemed to me that my piping layout wouldn't allow for the wider profile (larger diameter) Evolution (probably due to more soundproofing), so I went with the Badger, saved a hundred bucks and probably wrapped up with a quieter dispenser than I'm used to. I made the right decision: it fit in the space provided, it was super slim, quieter than my old one without the drain insert and SUPER QUIET with the drain insert in place. Score one for me!
