Update: I have a big thank you to the seller of Digital Goja. They contacted me after seeing my first review and offered a full refund and asked me to keep the trigger. Very happy with Digital Goja. great service Conclusion: check your camera. Canon has mixed both types of remote connectors in its range. (I bought another one with a 3-pin connector, but I see some of the newer cases have reverted to that type.) As a flash remote, this works great so far. I have an Altura flash and bought a dual flash trigger kit for Canon. I only tried one remote as I only have one flash. It works as expected with no dropouts (I only tried it in the same room as the camera). I can't tell if adding a second receiver would make things more difficult, but I don't see how. Unfortunately, the wrong remote cable is included in the box, so I can't use it to remotely trigger my cameras as I was hoping. All four Canons I've had use a three pin connector. The included cable looks like a 1/8" audio cable. It appears to be a nifty port that comes with lower-end Rebel cameras, but not XXD or XD cameras. Unfortunately, I didn't test that. Last year when I got it, now I need to buy another remote shutter system.
