Review on Krups 371 70 OptiSlice Electric Knife by Trae Joubert

My Krups electric knife got sick today. I cut bread and the engine started smelling hot. So the pen went in the trash. The blades feel sharp after 15 years of slicing bread, ham, roast beef, pork or chicken. Krups OptiSlice was the first electric knife I ever used. My husband bought it for me for Christmas in 1995 or 1996 as far as we can remember. That same year I bought him an electric knife for Christmas, but we figured a Krups knife would be easier to hold and use. It became a loud part of our lives, loud enough to warn someone to turn up the TV volume when I was about to use the Krups Knife! Now that he's gone, I miss that noisy little electric knife. I didn't even remember it being called "OptiSlice". Now that I know I have a selection of power knives on Revain.com, I'm shopping for the best replacement knife. When we bought our last electric knife, we didn't have any online shops.
