We have loved this fountain for our multi car household. I’ve had it about a year and it’s very easy to clean. HOWEVER, after a year of regular cleanings, the top plate no longer looks like stainless steel. It looks like silver plated plastic. Now that the coating is coming off, I’ve noticed my cats getting chin blackheads which is common if they eat or drink off of plastic. For now I may search for a replacement plate, but I wish I would have known before purchasing this.

The fountain was very easy to put together and is easy to clean. I was apprehensive at first because my older cat wasn't going near it so I put her old style water dish next to it and when that water ran out, she immediately started using it. I bought the extra filters but I think once I run out of them I will just put regular water in the fountain and clean the mesh filter that protects the pump because they're just cats and I don't even have filtered water for myself.

I love this! I had a problem with my cat bathing in her water bowl.I was always dirty. She kept pushing it away.Not this one! She loves it! The blue light beautifull! ! We purchased 3 of these bowls for our multi cat household. The bowls arrived on time and set up was fast and easy. Cleaning the bowls is simple with the majority being able to go into the dishwasher. The pump is quiet and the light is enough to see at night but not enough to bother anyone.I have loved using these until today. Day 50 and one of the 3 pumps stopped. The spinner inside is barely able to move. The warranty is only 30 days. 😤Apparently you can purchase a new pump for $12. 😤As much

I like that it's stainless steel which makes it easy to clean. The pump isn't really audible at all, maybe in a perfectly quiet house. When the water is low you can hear it drip down and know when it's time to refill it. I don't know if this is an intended feature but it certainly does work.My only complaint is that the lid doesn't lock down, it only rests on the lip of the bowl. I actually bought this for a large rabbit who likes only the freshest water and continuously dumped every water in front of him when he tried to obtain it. I loved this little fountain. Sadly it stopped working last night after about 8 mos. I cleaned it every week, it was quiet, & I’ve caught the dog drink out of it. All in all it was a good little fountain just wish it lasted longer

This water fountain is quieter than my old one and my Angel loves it. She also plays with it sometimes.The water tank is bigger with double filters. It’s stainless steel an easy to clean. My one cat really likes this. You can't tell it is running unless the water level is getting low. If you have hard water, it's best to buy bottled water as it won't get clogged with deposits and will be very easy to clean. Only thing a bit difficult is taking the blue fan box apart for cleaning. I got rid of my cats' old plastic fountain because of how susceptible it was to algae growth - a property of plastic I didn't know about. This fountain here has almost no plastic in it, the stainless steel discourages algae growth and even if it does become unsanitary, it can be safely purged in the dishwasher.
