Do you understand when you are in love with an inanimate object and appreciate its character, sense its presence in space, feel affection for it? It's a symbol of a special passion, it definitely manifests a special element of perfection. This umbrella matches my ideal black and white umbrella. I just love it. My only two concerns are that the handle might be real leather and the latch release button seems too momentary. I'm a vegetarian and deny I've read anything about the leather pencil, but I won't read it again in the near future due to cognitive dissonance in my culture. The locking button is made of a soft polymer and can last longer than some similar molded polymer parts I've dealt with. All in all, this is a fantasy umbrella with a striking vintage design that appeals to both wearer and viewer.
