Review on 🚰 Kraus KHF200-33 Standart PRO Stainless Steel Sink: Premium 33 inch Farmhouse Apron Single Bowl with 16 Gauge Durability by Bennie Boss

Nice sink, with some manufacturer's oversights.

My husband and I bought a top fixture after our wedding a few years ago so we are very comfortable and decided to redo our countertops and replace the sink and faucet last weekend. We upgraded our 36" cabinet for this 33" sink (our previous sink was a standard 1970's style drop-in 33" sink and with a front bulkhead this sink fit in a full 36" sink by Kraus, but looked cramped since then (it would be right next to the dishwasher). The upgrade was surprisingly easy (we found a great tutorial for a similar sink by Kohler on Youtube for ideas). We chose to leave the rim of the sink slightly higher (1/2 inch) than our countertop and are very pleased with the look. We haven't used it much yet as we finished late last night and need a faucet part, but I wanted to provide detailed feedback on the things we noticed from our work over the past weekend in case it helps anyone in the future: Benefits : - BEAUTIFUL sink and the accessories that we received in the kit when we bought it (grids, drains, etc.) are very good and seem to be of very good quality. Looks great with our brushed stainless steel appliances and fits perfectly. - The edges look great from all angles (note that the trailing edge only drops about 2 inches). not the full height like the sides and front of the sink, but that wasn't an issue when installing.) - Love the deep bowls and the size of each. No drawer as mentioned by previous reviewers. - Based on our initial testing (installation should be complete) it seems relatively calm when the water is flowing. - The back mounted sinks are great and gave us some space in our closet. for cleaning products - welcome bonus! Cons/Things I didn't understand based on the specs and other reviews: - Fingerprints are easily visible but seem to come off fairly easily. - WITHOUT MANUAL! The 4 page brochure was inaccurate (Some of the pictures show the 33" sink correctly as listed but instead the inside says 36"? Very odd. Luckily we got the correct one from the Home Depot website but the what inside was the box was wrong!) The booklet only shows some of the dimensional drawings and future care instructions and just says it needs to be professionally installed. HM okay. NO fasteners to attach sink to cabinet or anything else. We're finding out how to make it ourselves, but we found it very strange that nothing was included at all. We're using a few simple screws and washers to try to attach it, but it's a little tricky due to the shape of the sink floor - there's very little space to mount it! - "Cutting template" supplied with the sink. is a large piece of cardboard with rounded edges. Note that this is NOT a full sink size, it is only for undermount installation and therefore was totally useless to us for countertop or in-wall installation. The pattern doesn't mention that it only conforms to the measurements of the sink and not the full measurements. No other templates were provided. We found it a bit strange too, but the dimensions and angles are very simple and we were able to cut our laminate worktops without too much trouble. Conclusion: We are very happy that we bought this sink and it is absolutely worth the money. However, I wish the manufacturer had paid a little more attention to their materials (other than the sink itself) - could definitely use some sort of warning about poor instructions, templates and missing fittings! I hope by writing this some problems can be fixed in the future, or at least other buyers know in advance what they will get!
