Goodbye bin liners and zip-lock bags! Instead of plastic, I now only use Biobag. It works just as well, but with one caveat - wet things will cause it to break down pretty quickly. So put wet stuff in a smaller bio bag and take it out right away, no big deal. The only downside is that it's more expensive than plastic bags, although not by much. When you factor in the damage to the planet, it's a lot cheaper than plastic. Another note: they are designed to process commercial food waste. They do not recommend them for home composters.
