After reading several Revain reviews I was hesitant to purchase this lock. But he far exceeded my expectations. This is not a barn or house lock. But as a locker lock to prevent quick grab and throw at the gym or work locker, it's absolutely perfect for me. In my old lock there was a combination. As my eyesight deteriorates, I find it difficult to read combos without glasses. Especially in low light. And I don't always want to wear glasses. And if I had a keyed locker, it's only a matter of time before I lose the key. Or left at home. Or left in the car. This lock opens with a fingerprint. You predetermined it. It actually takes quite a few reads before validating your fingerprint. After confirmation, the lock appears to unlock quickly. More secure than the fingerprint reader on my Galaxy s9+. Yes, you can also unlock via Bluetooth. However, you must "turn on" the lock to connect to Bluetooth. This means you have to touch the front of the lock. You can use a fingerprint with the same success. Although it's a great alternative in case you cut your finger etc. And yes, it seems to unlock the lock with your fingerprint even when you're not connected to Bluetooth. After I set up my fingerprint, I had a few friends from work. and family members try to unlock them with their fingerprints. Until it goes, except me. I've been using it for about 12 days and it still shows 100% charge. When I received it it was at 60%. I expect it to last a long time on a single charge (which you can check with your phone app). Highly recommended!
