Review on DJI Air Fly More Combo by Justin Guldin

This is the third DJI drone I own. My first purchase was the Mavic 2 Pro. Up until the last day I used the Mavic 2 Pro, it was just amazing and very reliable. But after about 4 months he suddenly had a mind of his own. After about 5 minutes of flight, about 100 feet from me, it suddenly started to climb and rotate. It climbed to about 450 feet and then began to descend to the ground. It broke into 3 pieces. Although I was very frustrated at first, I started thinking about all the places I had flown my drone to date. I was beginning to realize how lucky I was that it happened right where it happened and not in a few spots where I was skimming crowds and vehicles. In fact, I was very grateful that it happened, when it happened, where it happened. I sent a drone with flight details and never received any feedback or response regarding my drone. It was a year and a half ago. About 6 months ago I plucked up the courage to try again and bought a DJI Mini 2. For the price and size, the Mini 2 is an exceptional drone. After a few months with the Mini 2 I decided to give it another try. The DJI Air 2s is $600 less than the Mavic 2 Pro and $600 more than the Mini 2. Although it hasn't even been a month since I bought the AIR 2S, it was incredibly impressive. Both the Mavic 2 Pro and Mini 2 had a transmission range of 10km, but the Air 2S has a range of 12km, and that 2km (along with 4 antennas) makes a big difference. I was up to 2.5 miles away when the signal went in and out while flying the Mavic 2 Pro/Mini 2, but from the same location, in the same direction as the AIR 2S, I climbed to 4.5 Miles mile with very stable signal. I had an incident about 3 miles where the camera froze and I had no video so I pressed the home button and after 6 minutes it was at my feet. Hope it was a one time thing. In addition, the active tracking on the DJI Air 2S seems to be significantly more reliable and stable than on the Mavic 2 Pro. Out of the three DJI drones I own/have owned for the feature included price, the DJI Air 2S is the clear winner. I'm definitely paying a lot more attention to where I'm flying today than I was a year ago, and I'm trying to stay over areas where the damage will be minimal. Don't think that because you're doing everything right, your drone won't go insane one day, make a crazy flight in the skies, and then suddenly decide to dive in and bomb an innocent parking lot. Believe me, shit happens!
