Look let’s call it like it is. This kite is a wind sock on a long string. I bought it for our eldest when I bought three kites for our kids, and although it’s really cool to watch this octopus do octopus things in the air, it’s kind of a B- in concerns to the fun factor. It flies long, as there is line enough to feed it, but it doesn’t fly very high; and although it’s cool that it quivers and wiggles like a cephalopod, the fact that it constantly dives to the ground mid flight no matter how much line you give it or how strongly the wind blows, kinda blows. Buy it if you love octopi, buy it for your toddler, but don’t buy it if you want any sort of excitement or challenge from your kite.
