I had an old set of these that had a much sturdier bar that goes through the lobe, and have had no issues with the screw threading over the last 5+ years. I bought a new set because the metal coating was starting to wear off, but the new set comes with a much thinner bar, resulting in something that bends easily just by holding it between your fingers, and already one of the ends will not tighten all of the way because the screw threading is stripped after less than a week of use. Super cheap, about the same price they were back when I first got a pair, but the set I got years ago was made of much sturdier material. These look exactly the same but are now manufactured much more cheaply, and since one of mine no longer works after one week of use, I consider it $13 wasted. Will probably have to find a set at a piercing shop that actually work.
