As long as you know what you're getting and what to expect you won't be disappointed. These garbage bags are intended for commercial use. These are the types of garbage bags you see in offices etc. These are NOT hefty or other heavy garbage bags. They can tear easily (sharp corners of the plastic/box etc) so you need to be careful what you put in your bag. We use them at home for kitchen scraps and have only had a break but that was due to our carelessness. You can always double the number of bags if you find it necessary (we don't). Also, they don't hold much weight, so don't overstuff them or you'll end up with a torn bag. We usually only fill 3/4 full.
