I've been using percussion massagers and massage guns for as long as I can remember, but this is my first massage ball. At first I wasn't particularly impressed. It's just a vibrating knotted rubber ball, I thought. And this is the truth. But then I laid on it and placed it right in the notch between my shoulder blade and my spine where I've had a pinched nerve for the past four or five days. The handles on this ball can get to the small places that other massagers and even hands can't reach. It didn't completely relieve my pinched nerve, but it certainly loosened it up more than other methods so far. But there are several design issues. First, finding a charging port is very difficult. I had to use the light on my phone to finally find it. It's hard to find as it's covered in rubber. I think that makes this vibrating ball waterproof, but it definitely makes charging a little difficult, at least until you know the secret. Also, the ball I received is different from what is shown in the product video and some product photos. I suspect they just updated the design, but it's worth mentioning. Finally, I think this ball can really only be used alone. It seems to work best under the user's weight, so I don't think it's the best option for couples or those with limited mobility. I will continue to use it for those tight muscles and pinched nerves that other methods can't reach or relax, but it won't be the first thing I reach for. It's good, maybe very good, but not great, at least not for me. I hope my experience with this product can help YOU make a more informed purchase. Have fun shopping!
