They lasted 7 months, then the connector on the back of the generator blew out and a fire almost started, thank god for my ingenuity. The mechanic confirmed that the alternator was defective. After some thought, I think I'll stay away from Db Electrical on my new purchase. Aside from the premature failure, a small modification with a grinder was required to fit my 2001 zr2 tracker, FYI. It was a quick decision when I received it a few days later, but how much did I really save if I had to buy two a year? LOLOLOLO
