First let me start by acknowledging Phanteks and their amazing support for what they truly stand for; I had an issue with the internal LED strip (a thin strip that goes through the power supply cover) and when I contacted them, they immediately agreed to work with me and get a free replacement for what was a proprietary part could be. More on that later. The front of the case looks amazing and wonderful. The tempered glass is solid and showed no flaws when received, and the stylish interior is definitely a plus, but it comes at a price and with some questionable choices. The biggest problem with the case is the thin material and design: different fan mounting points. The case is thin and made of extremely brittle and easily deformable material, which is a major wake-up call for the rest of the case. The entire bottom of the case is basically just an open hole with a mesh filter, meaning that if you need to carry the case somewhere (e.g. after installation) the only points you need to lift the case are the feet are at the front. and in the back, which are ribbed and very painful if you have a heavy system (which you probably gave the size of the case). Trying to hold the housing anywhere else puts pressure on the bottom filter, which can damage it (I actually pulled out one point of the bottom filter this way, but I managed to glue it back on). Another problem with the fan mounts is very serious. strict positioning of the screw positions. If you look at my second photo, you can see that although the case is marketed at the top with about 520mm of maximum heatsink space, you really can't fit a combination of heatsinks at the top, even though it's a lot less than that number. (I used a 280mm AIO CPU and a 120mm hybrid GPU). Although the size is in the 520mm range (even at 400mm), the lack of consistent placement of the 120mm dots on the top meant it would be impossible to fit my configuration into the case without an adapter (even with the 140mm adapter). . Fitting both into the case is very difficult as the radiators themselves have small protrusions that do not allow them to fit neatly into the free flush space). This design choice is highly questionable and really limits what you can fit in a suitcase; It has little to no airflow from the heatsink, lacks 120mm dots the entire length of the top and only serves to further limit it. Additionally, the stylish PSU shroud, which serves as a place for a Mini-ITX board in a dual-PC configuration, is a mixed bag: the shroud usually (and on the Enthoo Luxe was) covered the entire depth and length of the case, and left Room for hard drive cases and more Effectively concealing cables. In the case of the Enthoo 719, however, that space has been significantly reduced, to a quarter of that space at best. This, along with the extremely flat backspace, means cable management is a nightmare. The sheer number of power supply cables, even with a modular power supply, makes it difficult to close the rear case door, let alone the back of the case. It's really a disappointment because while Phanteks have been recognized as a good choice in the PC market, it really proved to me that we give them too much importance. that they don't use these cases and have no idea if they are functional or difficult to use. It's really a shame. I really like the look of the case and that's why I gave the rating an extra star overall, but it's really just poor design in every other category. It's 2020, not only can you make your body look pretty, it has to be pretty Phanteks.
