Love it! I wish I had bought it sooner!

I haven't wanted to buy this for a very long time because the first 'most helpful' review that came up gave it a 3 and said it was basically not worth buying and magnets make it bounce around everywhere. SO WRONG! I've attached a video so people can see exactly how the magnets work. The green frame is not magnetized. However, as long as any part of the cube is on top of the magnet (crosses the limit), it will remain in place. You just can't put the whole cube in the green area (this only applies to small cubes). Second, large stamps usually stay where you put them. I have a Happy Birthday emoticon stamp and it won't move from where I placed it. My 1" x 1" stamps can move side to side a bit, but most records don't (unless I put the entire stamp in the green box). My smallest stamps are 1/4" x 1/4" and as you can see from the video, this heart moves the most when I place it on the board. Quite a lot though, and it's easy to set up. I could only imagine this being a problem if I was trying to pop in maybe 20 of these little hearts at a time to cut them out? I'm not sure. I don't have many small stamps. As for warped plates, I could see how that could be a problem with the magnet. My pelvis don't seem to deform. I definitely do a test when I put the plate down to see if it gives in the middle when pressed, if so, turn it over. Mine have a slight curve and I have no problem. I save so much time and money not having to use washi tape to put the stamps on the paper. I also have a Gemini Jr and it comes with a magnetic spacer to hold your stamps in place, but I like it a lot more because that spacer will eventually warp and mark and I've replaced it a few times . From this point of view, the price of this platform is cheaper than my twin in the long run, considering the constant exchange. Finally, this platform eliminates the need for the thin die washer that came with my machine. I don't need it in my sandwich anymore and it always gave me problems because I sometimes made the mistake of not building up all the layers right before the start. I highly recommend getting this. This is pointless to me!
