I have a Chihuahua with iris atrophy and she needs sunglasses because her small pupils are always dilated and she squints all the time. When she's in the shade in the car, my other pup (pictured) likes to lean out the car window. To protect her little eyes we put them on her and she can hang longer. She actually looks around with them and enjoys them. Both don't like walking around in it for too long, but over time they will get used to it. The amount of smiles and photos they took with these glasses is hilarious and a bonus to our day. I wouldn't hesitate to buy a pair for your furry little one. They are a bit wide and fit my taller 6lb kids, just FYI in case you're thinking of buying one :-)
