I bought this for my middle school age daughter and wish I had known about it when she was younger. She takes the rug to school on exam days and any other days she is scared. She likes the weight and plays the uneven side like a toy violin. I saw her pull it out at home when she was doing her homework. The thing is very cute and has a good weight. I have a younger son who also loves it. I used to put rice sacks on his lap to keep him quiet, but this is so much better. It has a delicate taste and I like the heating option. Good product!
