Ideal! Used as a low profile mic mount
I bought this low profile desktop mic mount instead (not for iPad/iPhone). The product comes with a 1/4"-20 adapter. So if you buy a 1/4" male to 5/8" female that costs less than $5, you can install it on most microphones (I have the Elgato Wave1). .. the quality and durability of the product. For the price it looks fantastic. Other comparable low-profile mounts cost around $200 and up.
