It works out? Excellent
I wanted a self contained system (with factory radio and speakers) for my Class C motorhome. I also believe in the DS18. So I used it to run a 7-band EQ and then fed the signals to a 4-channel amp. I have 8" and 5.25" coax and an 8" subwoofer, all driven by an amplifier. When I use my iPhone the sound is EPIC. Volume control is through my phone, but the equalizer also has a system volume control. The system withstands the severe STL winter perfectly.
