Beyond praise! The product definitely deserves your attention.

I was looking for the first telephoto lens for my Canon 450D. By that time, there was already Canon 50 / 1.8II and Tamron 17-50. The requirements were simple - something inexpensive, and more or less universal, to understand what I need, and how. The stub was very desirable. Of the models I tested (some didn't make it to review testing), I chose this one. Dear, I wasn't sure my photo skill could justify it. And again, a little shorter and no stabilizer. Tamron is heavy, with my 100th series and a small pen, after half an hour of photographing, the hand will simply fall off. I didn’t like the Canon 70-300. I’m 100% satisfied with the lens. Moderately sharp, quickly and accurately focusing. Convenient focal length (near end 55m, not 70mm). The stabilizer allows you to shoot at 1/30-1/60 at the long end (about 400 effective mm) if your hands are not shaking. We can focus quite close, which, combined with a long focus, gives a non-macro. After seeing enough of the photos he took, my colleague wanted the same one, now she does not have a telephoto lens. If you need the first telephoto lens to understand what it is and why it is, there is no better choice, in my opinion. A solid five plus. I think this is the best budget telezoom lens.

Pros
  • Price. Picture. Stab. Focal.

The picture is excellent - I like it, despite the 24-70L available. The mount is normal, I think it will last more than one year. There are no loopholes. Focusing is acceptable, it catches a bird on the fly without any problems!
