Review on Robot vacuum cleaner Roborock S7 RU, white by Dagmara Kunikowska ᠌

Revainrating 4 out of 5

A reliable product, quality is acceptable.

- The declared overcoming of 2 cm obstacles - well, that's it . I climbed on the threshold (18 mm, with a chamfer) with great difficulty and roar. But he moved funny - like Grog, waddling. I had to fork out, cut off the old threshold and apply a new aluminum wide. - Side brush of dubious effectiveness. It throws debris away from itself more than it pulls it under the belly into the main brush. To avoid this - it must be placed in an inclined plane. The Roborock app is, frankly, a C grade. - There is not enough double tap to enlarge the map - A long tap is also not implemented - but it would be convenient, for example, to select single rooms before cleaning. - I would add a summary in the form of an interactive table, before starting the cleaning. Each row of the table is a room. In each line, the cleaning mode is configured (default values for this room are pulled up or edited manually) and the number of passes. Lines can be dragged manually to set the cleaning sequence. Plus, in the same place in the form of service lines, you can add a return to the base to replace the rag or a pre-launch pause to get the rag wet. Such tables can be saved as ready-made scripts for manual/scheduled cleaning. - Icons are disgusting. Different stages of "droplet" and "fan" are almost indistinguishable from each other. - By the way, what influences the intensity of wet cleaning? On the water supply, or the vibration frequency of the rag? It is necessary to better think over / redo the procedure of the vacuum cleaner, for example: - Turn on the turbine at the specified / full power only when the dust reaches the point where the cleaning starts. Why do I need this roaring tornado that rides through the whole house to clean the back room? - Make voice announcements before turning on the turbine or with a delay after turning it off. Now it turns out porridge - nothing is heard because of the roar. - Make delays for lowering the rag, it does not fall instantly. Pylik arrives in a new room, revs, and a trace of a rag appears after half a meter.

Pros
  • Review after a month of use. In general, I'm satisfied. It really saves time and keeps the house clean. By the way, partly due to the fact that the owner himself must once and for all remove the trash from the floor and fix the wires. Many of the jambs described below are treated by software (which I really expect from the manufacturer), the hardware is quite good. - During the first pass, the map was built well, but it was broken wildly - 5 rooms were combined into one, the rest - into another. It took a long time to edit by hand. At first it was not possible to divide the rooms - the action on the section ended with an error. Then I accidentally ran the auto split again and it still divided the rooms, albeit right in the center. Plus, I drew a phantom room in the middle of the furniture (then disappeared). Through crutches with breaking / combining, it was possible to bring it back to normal. - When they let this Niffler into two new rooms, he added them to the map, but forgot where the base was from joy. Then he ran around the house, looked around every meter, and eventually asked for pens. - There are big concerns about the correct work without the Internet. Check in practice hands do not reach yet. - I have two routers (one in network extender mode) with different IP addresses. With manual control, as soon as a mobile phone or a vacuum cleaner is connected to another router, the control falls off for 10 seconds. - The power connector of the docking station is low, it is necessary to lift / fasten the wire to the wall - so that the dust does not tighten it.
Cons
  • - I had to disable (temporarily, I hope) MAC address filtering on my WiFi network. All because neither on the box, nor on the sticker, nor in the application, I could not find MAC dust. - Before manually starting the cleaning, you have to wet the cloth. These are trifles - after all, judging by the comments, when cleaning according to a schedule, he knows how to wet the rag himself in advance. But no, mine woke up on schedule and proudly went to crawl the floor with a dry rag. - The only native rag from the kit is frankly not enough. If you don’t want to rinse it manually every day, then immediately put a dozen of these with Ali into the budget. - Only one nozzle for supplying water to a rag. The rag gets wet unevenly, and this can be seen in the footprints. - Do not think that he will wash tens of square meters of floors at once. No, the rag will get clogged with dirt in the first or second room and will start to leave stains. It remains to distribute the rooms according to the schedule and wash them on different days / different times. Well, or on the go, pause it and rinse the rag (I do that). The solution to this problem could be integrated into the application - for example, notifications on the phone + a pause in work after washing several rooms. - When he finished cleaning in one room and revs along the shortest straight line to another, he does not pick up the rag. This divorce is then clearly visible on the floor. - The container is really inconvenient to empty, despite the fact that it opens from two sides. The most fu - boots on the filter. Wash this paper my hand does not rise. I blow in the yard with a compressor, since there is an opportunity. It won't be as comfortable in winter. - Dirt from the container easily wakes up (into the seat) when it is removed. From there, her path is only to the turbine. - Filling the container with water is inconvenient - the outgoing air interferes with the flow of water, it bubbles and splashes. Additional vent nearby - does not help in venting air. After filling and closing the cork, I wipe the container with a dry cloth so that moisture does not get into the dust.
