We had room fans on the back porch for a number of years and as the blades were wood they started to sag and eventually had to be removed and so on so we have We finally decided we needed true outdoor fans and based on the price and other reviews we went with them. The installation process was very easy! My husband didn't even need directions. They have mesh inside the "bowl" area where the motor is located to keep bugs out and the fan blades are plastic so the blades don't sag over time! They are very quiet and run at full speed. lots of air back which will be VERY good in a hot Georgia summer!
