Helps you keep cool, but with lots of static

I am in hot flash age, and I frequently can only use a sheet when I sleep. Even then, I sweat. This blanket does keep you cool. It is light weight and made of a silky nylon-like material. This material produces a lot of static, even though the rest of my bedding is made of cotton. You will absolutely need to use laundry softener to help with the static. Otherwise, it does help you stay cool at night.
