Review on Marsauto Replacement Courtesy License Lights by Michael Tegan

Great bulbs, very bright!

I bought these 194 led bulbs on March 30th and received them in no time. So, here's what I think of the pros and cons of these lamps. Pros of the packaging: The packaging made a really good impression. Unlike auto parts stores that pack them in cardboard and plastic wrappers, MarsAuto sells them in sealed anti-static bags. These are the same bags as graphics cards. This is a good start. Build quality: OK, that's what really matters now. The structure of these lamps is great, the circuit boards and the soldering that holds them together are very good. doesn't look like cheap solder, but holds tight, the same applies to the connecting wires. Lighting: You are bright! The 6000 lumen LEDs are bright and shine well during the day. On my 93 Geo Prizm the orange position lights are now bright yellow day and night. they are very noticeable. The only downside is that this bulb is open circuit, just make sure the sockets on the headlights have gaskets and you won't have a problem if you don't, it's easy to fix with dielectric grease. In my case the fenders in the wheel arches were removed to make more room for the tires because I lowered them with coilovers and my car is now 3 inches off the ground so the water is hitting the bumper headlights from the inside , but so far the pears are holding tight and are NOT wet. Don't get me wrong, these bulbs are perfect replacements. Just remember that auto mechanic books always recommend using dielectric grease. This does 3 things: waterproof open circuits help improve the connection, and lubricating the bulb makes it easier to remove or service later. I give this product 5 stars because it is great, does the job at a great price and I would say it is a quality product!
