Tired of paying for 3 set top boxes and installing this unit and now powering 8 TVs from one set top box. My wife and I rarely, if ever, watch different commercial television channels at the same time. We almost cut the cable, but not yet. 1x8 allows us to save about $30 a month on STB rental. Now I can install commercial TV stations in my garage, workshop, porch. Great product that pays for itself. Actually 1x9 because. I have an HDMI monitor.
