Sound Mode Requires VERY loud music to work

I'll start with the good. These lights are very bright and the colors are beautiful. The different modes are amazing - solid color, slow fade, strobe, blink. I have a black interior and installed under seat lighting. They look great when it's dark! Now for the bad - the sound mode. The sound mode works and looks very good BUT I have to turn the volume up loud enough for the sensor (built into the control box) to pick it up. That means I'll never use sound mode, which was a big reason for these lights. I find it ridiculous that I have to turn the volume up so loud that the car next to me can FEEL my music for the sensor to pick up something. When I first tried the sound mode I thought it was broken - I turned on the music. and they just flashed blue. I contacted LEDGlow via live chat on their website. I was told to do everything I had already tried - play with the sensitivity wheel, turn up the volume (I thought I tried very loud volume but apparently it wasn't enough). They asked me to send them in for review. Note: I waited too long so had to pay shipping which ended up being $7 (disappointing but my fault). Long story short, they sent them back and said they would work fine. I couldn't get her to dance to the music so I called LEDGlow. They told me if you click the box and the lights start flashing a different color it means they are working and this is the test they use. Well, I knew they would light up green if I touched them, but I didn't think about it much. The first guy I spoke to didn't say anything about the audition and when I asked if it had to be done very loudly he said no. After all these experiences I was so frustrated and disappointed. The sound mode was what I wanted and I basically didn't get it. Customer service was BAD - I could have saved $7 or more a week of waiting if the first guy (HE WAS FROM TECH SUPPORT! SERIOUS?!?!?!) told me that they test them by clicking the control and the colors looks change. I ended up leaving the light because I had already invested so much time and money (plus I didn't get my $7 back, yeah I'm still salty.). However, I am always disappointed when I see them. *Disclaimer: I'm a student but I hate loud music and listen to headphones on the lowest volume setting. If you like loud music (I mean loud ground shake) and the volume is typically 75% or more, then this light is for you*
