I use these exclusively in my car and am very impressed with the balance of durability and ease of use. It's used daily and doesn't strain the connectors or tear the insulation like a lot of the extra cables I usually buy do. At the same time, it's flexible enough that I can easily move it to any compartment around my car's console; There is no rigidity at all in this cord. Sound quality is excellent while avoiding the crackling that occurs with many connectors as they wear out. Oddly enough, the blue IXCC cap at each end unscrews with little effort, but there's nothing delicate inside, so it might just be decorative. So far it has held up great for 8 months. I recommend it for $5 for a 3 foot cable. EDIT: After almost 4 years of daily use in my car, I'm throwing this cable away and buying the same one again. The plug is completely worn out and won't stay in place. All other parts of the cable are in excellent condition and still working. Let's hope the design hasn't changed since then.
