The Caliber Art rotary cutting mat is just great. Not only is it a well-marked and durable self-healing cutting mat, but it also rotates. The turntable mechanism is well made. It moves slightly when you want to rotate it, but stays in place when you measure and cut. I mainly use mine for quilting. Cut fabric with a disc cutter. I've been using mine daily for about a month and it's working great. I like the 18x18 format. It's big enough for me to balance the quilting and do my finicky haircut, and I especially appreciate the quarter inch mesh, the mesh with circles, and the corners in the mesh. With this cutting mat and my 18" x 2.5" ruler, I can cut almost anything with precision without having to "cross my arms" or move around the table.
