WARNING: If you want to keep your car quiet, this device is not for you. Each of these high-flow intakes does its job without impeding airflow from the airbox to the throttle body. This means you can hear the engine noise from the other direction. It's a fact of life, so if engine noise is an issue, don't use this intake or any other. maybe a little better for turning left in oncoming traffic. I don't usually drive the car that much, but I put it in almost immediately after buying the car, so I'm not sure if there's a fuel economy boost, but more power is usually measured in either power gains *or* more fuel economy, so I suspect this will help with fuel economy. Installation was easy, although the step to reinstall the front air intake is a very small entry at the end of one of the steps. The filter has a limited lifespan unlike most wet filters (like K&N etc) but you can extend the lifespan significantly by pre-filtering a lot of road grime with the Hydro-Shield add-on.
