Review on Pawtec External USB 3.0 Aluminum 6X BDXL 3D Blu-Ray Writer/Burner - Black by Mark Green
Unreliable for my opinion
Many Blu-Ray disk writes fail (about 2 out of 3), for unknown reasons. I have tried many different disks - Verbatim, Philips, TDK, 25G, 50G. These disks are to expensive to waste in this way, so the drive is heading to the landfill.The drive does not work with Windows 7 native DVD writing (does not appear to handle the larger size) so I use Roxio.
- Works as advertised.
- The external USB cord that comes with this device is shorter than other similar products, limiting where it can be placed
