This is a good professional quality push broom. The soft outside bristles on the broom head pick up the finer materials, like dust, and the stiffer inside bristles pick up the larger debris, like leaves and wood shavings. The broom’s wooden handle is a good length, 60 inches, for the 24 inch width of the broom head and the tasks for which the broom is designed. The broom handle seems sturdy and strong enough but it will be a little flexible under heavy use, however, as long as the broom is not abused should not break. The only drawback to the broom is the EVA comfort foam grip, as these typically degrade especially if the broom is left outdoors in the open and exposed to the elements. It is this feature that, for me, prevents a five star rating.
