Review on ๐Ÿš— Rancho RS9000XL RS999116 Shock Absorber: Enhance Your Vehicle's Performance by Nick Colton

Exceeded expectations

I struggled with the cost for a week before I bought it. The adjustment options sounded good, but I wasn't sure how to set up the ride in my particular case (standard '96 F250 crew cab with a very uncomfortable ride). I can only say wow! I'm still amazed at the difference. I never thought a sturdy, rickety old truck could drive almost like a car. And so far I've only used the lowest settings. I figured I might have to speed up the ride a bit when towing our trailer, but I made the short trip with no ill effects. The price is worth it and I would recommend them to anyone who has an old truck that wants a more comfortable ride, especially if it's in really good condition. Given the effectiveness of the product, I wouldn't be dissatisfied paying the price of an auto parts store. The price of the Revain really helped me with my purchasing decision. The rear shock absorbers are easy to assemble. The front ones are a bit more difficult, especially when the wheel is on the left. I left mine on because it has eight eyelets and is heavy. Anyone with a little manual dexterity shouldn't have a problem. This isn't my first experience with Rancho shocks. Our Jeep has had RS5000's for 3 years and we love them.
